Generating Ideas
I generate ideas by freely thinking about the subject and I write everything that comes up, even if it is a ridiculous idea. The idea itself may be ridiculous or not fit to the purpose at first, but something from it may turn out to be a useful idea. I don't have necessarily a course of action I always follow because I believe that changing some procedures helps having more good ideas.
One of the resources I use is the internet. I type one word, let "Google" do the work. Then I jump from page to page, even if it doesn't make sense. I look around in every page in order to "fish" for new ideas and I keep moving this way. I call this technique "brainstroming with the internet".
My friends seems to rely more on dictionaries and "formal" sources like books and scientific magazines. They are more academic oriented than me. But, for a "brainstroming with "others", browsing withou purpose on the internet does wonders for me. The elders I know have fixed ideas and they usually reject "new" ideas. I am quite different in this manner.
