Interview
How often do you come here?
At this church almost every weekday.
And not on the weekends?
See, I work nearby from Monday to Friday and I have one hour and a halp for luchtime. Because I live in the suburbs, on Saturdays nad Sundays I go to church there.
Is it different here from there?
I am not sure if it is different always. Here I come at this time, when there isn't religious service (Mass). There, I usually go on Saturday to do some voluntary work and on Sunday to participate in Mass. Both places are church but what I do in each one is different in the practical way.
Why do you come here?
To pray, to get some rest and be with God at the same time and I come here to get some peace of mind and peace in my heart.
And do you get peace?
Oh, yes. Totally.
Why do you need peace of mind and peace in your heart?
My job is a bit stressfull, in my house I have to take care of my family: a husband that doesn't help with the household chores and three kids, small ones.
How old are they?
The oldest is a boy, eight years old and I have twins, two girls age three and a half.
Are they good kids?
Oh, yes (I see a big smile on her face). They are adorable, they have good health but they give much work. I love them.
What about your husband, do you have a good relationship?
Yes, pretty much. He is responsible, loves me and the kids. The complain I have is that he does not help in the house. He thinks men should not do the cooking, the laundry and the cleaning. This kind of stuff.
Well, I hope the best for your family. How to you feel while inside here? Do you get the peace you search for?
Yah! Pretty much. I come and talk to Jesus about the problems in the workplace and some stuff in the family, close and expanded family, then I pray for me and for my family, I also give thanks for my life and the good there are in it. I get peace of mind and of heart. Not totally, but I see a big progress.
What happens when you do not come?
I feel something lacking. It is not a big deal if I do not come for one day. But if it happens I don't come for two or more days, here or in another church, I start to get a little down.
How do you feel after you leave this place?
I feel renovated, I feel optimistic, I feel nourished by God's love.
What do you do with the peace you find here?
I take it to other people. I try to spread the goodness I find here.
Would you like to share anything else?
I want to thank you for interviewing me. Few people want to talk about this things and I loved this moment. Thank you very much.
I thank you a lot. Best of everything in life for you.

OVERVIEW
As part of Writing Project #2, you are responsible for conducting an interview regarding your chosen “phenomenon” with someone who is associated with that phenomenon. In this Writer’s Journal, you will generate the materials, conduct the interview, and record your results. This Writer’s Journal has a number of steps.
DIRECTIONS
Step One
Based on the readings and videos this week, create your preliminary interview questions. Remember to build in some flexibility. In a document, record these questions and why you want to ask these particular questions.
Step Two
Meet with your interviewee. Be sure to explain the assignment you are completing before you begin your interview. Take detailed notes while you conduct the interview. While you should try to get answers for each of your questions, remember to pay attention to what your interviewee wants to talk about, and remember that you can ask unplanned questions if it seems appropriate.
Step Three
After your interview, go through your notes, and write them out in full sentences.
SUBMIT
Step Four
In the box below, please type or paste the results of Step One followed by the results of Step Three. Be sure to read over your response to be sure it says what you want it to say. Once you are satisfied with your response:

2. copy your response so that you can include it in your portfolio,
3. and submit your response.
